Legal Guarantees and Support Programs for Labor Rights Protection for Women in Early Motherhood

Early motherhood is a very sensitive period in a woman's life and she should be sure that her labor rights will not be violated just because she is pregnant or caring for a small child.

This study shows what family-friendly mechanisms exist for working mothers in Armenia and how they work in practice. For example, there is a legal norm on having a breastfeeding room at workplaces, but most government agencies do not provide this room. At the same time, the study provides suggestions for changes to improve practice.
