Teachers Forum on Social Justice in the Schools 2022, Armenia

160 teachers from different Armenian communities participated in a two-days teachers' conference on October 28th to 30th, 2022.

The event dedicated to the topic of social justice in school, was organized in cooperation between the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Armenia and the Swedish NGO Global to Local.

Social justice is of crucial importance in educational processes. It has many different manifestations and can occur in the infrastructural conditions of the school, educational policies and programs, teaching methods, grading system and of course in the relationship between teachers, students and their parents. This list can be continued endlessly.

Conference participants and renowned experts from various fields discussed above-mentioned and related issues using different innovative formats, such as interactive theatre and dance performances. In the course of this two days event, the topic of social justice and especially school bullying was controversially discussed enhancing mutual understanding and people-to-people contact between different actor groups.
