Zygmunt Bauman’s "Liquid Modernity" now in Georgian

On January 9, 2019, two years have passed since the death of the remarkable philosopher, sociologist and political scientist Zygmunt Bauman. His conception of the ‘Liquid Modernity’ has fundamentally changed our understanding of the contemporary social and cultural reality.

Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and the Dialogue Platform on Social Issues translated  Zygmunt Bauman’s book “Liquid Modernity” into Georgian. Baumann coined the term liquid modernity to better describe the condition of constant mobility and change in terms of identity,  relations and global economics. The Georgian book is available for download here, and as hard copy – please approach stiftung(at)fesgeo.ge if you are interested in receiving the book.
