Women and the Woman Question in Georgia

The book "Women and the Woman Question in Georgia" showcases the reflections of key actors involved in the women's emancipation movement, which influenced the promotion and success of the idea of equality in Georgia.

The book's editor, Professor Lela Gaprindashvili, presents not only the intellectual history of Georgian women but also their emotional journey—through their poetry, personal correspondence, and articles dedicated to one another. This publication will contribute significantly to understanding women's issues in contemporary Georgia from both a historical and theoretical perspective, forming the foundation for the improvement of women's social, economic, civil, and political status.
