Monopolies in Armenia

The current economic policy practices of the Republic of Armenia do not secure market competitiveness, nor does the country have in place the proper mechanisms for regulating the existence and growth of monopolies. This has led to abuse of market power, market distortions, lack of economic competition for the goods and services they provide, and persistent market entry barriers.

This study answers a number of questions, proposes solutions, and makes specific recommendations for regulating monopolies in the country.
