Securing pensions on the capital market - a wrong approach?

The financial market crisis had a massive impact on "funded" pensions. Although the crash was followed by a recovery, the fragility of the financial markets remains a significant risk. Against this background and given the persistence of low interest rates, the shift to "capital cover" also turns out to be problematic in the long term.
