“SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE AND WORKERS’ PROTECTION – Effective Management and Responsible Use of Pesticides in Agriculture. Position Paper of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia”

This position paper was developed as a result of cooperation between the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, and the JUSTUS Research and Consulting Foundation. It is based on comprehensive research into pesticide use and management in the agricultural sector and extensive consultations with stakeholders, including policymakers, representatives of the civil society and academic sectors, sectoral republican unions of trade unions operating in the sector, organisations supporting workers’ rights, and social partners. It also reflects insights gained through discussions with workers.
