Towards Unlocking Georgia’s EU Perspectives

Since signing the Association Agreement with the European Union, Georgia has made great strides towards fulfilling the requirements for EU membership. However, it is important to question how realistic this goal is and to examine what reforms are needed to attain it.

These issues are studied by Archil Gegeshidze in the publication “Towards Unlocking Georgia’s EU Perspectives”. Based on the case studies presented in the publication, he examines what lessons Georgia can learn from the experiences the Visegrad and West Balkan states made during the EU integration process, while also exploring the country’s own prospects of Euro-Atlantic integration.
