Youth Policy Implementation at the Local Level: Imereti and Tbilisi

The empirical study gives analytical insights on management and implementation of the youth policy by the local self-governments in Imereti and Tbilisi.

The self-governments in Georgia have the overall authority to plan, manage and implement youth policy on local level. The Study aimed to identify whether youth policy is inclusive and participatory and how the youth policy is implemented in the municipalities. In order to have analytical insights on management and the implementation of the youth policy by local self-governments in the Imereti  Region and Tbilisi, the study focused on the process and challenges of policy planning and implementation in the aforementioned municipalities. The study also provides recommendations.
