10 Years of Labor Policy and European Integration in Georgia 2014 - 2024

A decade has passed since the signing of the Association Agreement/DCFTA between Georgia and the European Union.

Over this period, the European Commission has consistently published annual reports evaluating Georgia’s progress in implementing the Agreement. These reports highlight achievements and provide recommendations for future action. One key area of evaluation has been labor and employment policy. This brochure examines the evolution of Georgia’s labor policy over the past ten years, offering insights into how the European Commission has assessed legislative developments, the implementation of reforms, and institutional advancements in the labor sector. The brochure is prepared by Ekaterine Kardava, head of the association "European Time" with the support of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung.
